Highland Spring has renewed its sponsorship involvement in snooker for a further
three years with a £1 million investment into the sport.
The new contract, which is Highland Spring’s largest ever investment in a
sponsorship deal, will see the creation of a Team Highland Spring made up of 12
of the sport’s top snooker players who will act as ambassadors for the brand.
The team includes Stephen Hendry, Ken Doherty and Ronnie O’Sullivan.
The Highland Spring logo will appear on the players’ waistcoats during 300
hours of televised coverage a year on BBC Sport, BBC Interactive, Sky Sports and
Eurosport.
The bottled water brand has also signed a further three year deal as the
official water supplier to World Snooker, the professional game’s governing
body.
