Honda UK has extended its association with cycling in the UK by announcing a number of cycling partnerships with The Tour of Britain, The Halfords Tour Series and World Champion Ed Clancy.

For the second successive year Honda is the official car partner for The Tour of Britain, the professional cycle race which takes place in September, attracting over a million spectators each year.

The 50-strong fleet of support vehicles will be made up of Swindon-built Civics and CR-Vs as well as low emission Insight hybrids which will be used for routing, planning, marketing and during the event itself.

Ed Clancy will continue to be the face of Honda’s Tour of Britain activation campaign this summer with the extension to his deal with the car manufacturer.

Honda will also partner The Halfords Tour Series, a city centre racing series which takes place from 25th May to the 25th June, providing vehicle support to the race organisers.
