Newly promoted Huddersfield Town has announced a double deal following the club’s Premier League debut last weekend, entering into a new partnership with Leisu Sports while renewed its agreement with Tog24.
Leisu Sports, a Chinese sports data platform, will serve as the Premier League outfit’s official Asian media partner.
As part of the agreement, Leisu will launch a marketing campaign in China to help promote Huddersfield to football fans in the country.
In addition, the club announced Tog24 had extended its association with the club for a further year.
The deal will see the Yorkshire-based outdoor clothing brand continue to feature on pitchside advertising boards, while the company will also provide the club’s ticket team with a jointly branded uniform throughout the 2017/18 season.
Sean Jarvis, Huddersfield Town, commercial director said: “We are delighted to join forces with Leisu Sports and once again grow the Huddersfield Town brand.
“Leisu Sports will become the club’s Asian Media Partner and will pay a key role in expanding Huddersfield Town’s reputation in China. We can’t wait to start working with them over the upcoming Premier League season.”
On the Tog24 deal, Jarvis said: “This is a defining moment for the club and to feel the shared passion between fans, players, club and our partners is something we’ve always worked towards. Tog24 is a Yorkshire-based brand with excellent quality clothing that will ensure our ticketing team look the part as we head into the start of the new season.”
Chris Ward, director of Tog 24, added: “This is a hugely exciting time to be associated with a club carrying the momentum of Huddersfield Town. The atmosphere surrounding the team is inspiring, and we’re proud to be associated with a club that shares the same set of honest, hard-working values as we do at Tog24.”
