Hyundai Kicks Off Wc Road Show

Hyundai has launched its Goodwill Ball road show in the build up to the World Cup Finals this summer.

Fans, celebrities, government officials and country ambassadors visited Hyundai Park in Sandton to put their signatures on the 32 Goodwill Balls, each representing a country that has qualified for the tournament.

The balls will now begin a voyage across South Africa and all of the 32 qualified countries ahead of the tournament that kicks off in June.

Hyundai have conducted the road show at every major football tournaments since Euro 2000.

The Hyundai Goodwill balls measure four metres in diameter and will end their journey in Johannesburg in May.

The balls will then follow their teams and the will be on display at matches during the tournament.
Hyundai has a deal as the Official Automotive Partner of FIFA until 2014.

For the 2010 FIFA World Cup, Hyundai will provide 609 passenger cars/vans and 2,800 hours of bus use will be put at the disposal of FIFA officials, national teams, members of the organizing committee, referees and media representatives.
