Ihg Joins British Swimming Sponsors
British Swimming has added to its burgeoning sponsorship portfolio after signing a deal with InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) which will become the governing body’s official hotel provider.
The deal, which also includes replication across the ASA, Scottish Swimming and Swim Wales, is the first such contract to operate across all four swimming governing bodies.
The deal will see IHG provide assistance at all levels of swimming from corporate level events through to member support.
IHG is also the official hotel provider of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
IHG is the world’s largest hotel group by number of rooms, with over 4,400 hotels and more than 650,000 guest room in 100 countries across the world. IHG operates seven well known hotel brands – InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Hotel Indigo, Staybridge Suites and Candlewood Suites.
