Ilona Maher and adidas team up for a long-term partnership
Ilona Maher has partnered with adidas in a multi-year deal, becoming part of the brand’s global roster of athletes.
The agreement will provide Maher with performance and leisurewear, supporting her both on and off the pitch.
Maher is set to be featured in the launch of a new women’s rugby boot later this year, alongside other adidas-sponsored athletes.
Maher played for Bristol Bears this season, scoring four tries in seven matches and helping the team reach the semi-finals of the English top tier women’s division.
She has also represented the United States, winning a bronze medal at the Paris 2024 Olympics in rugby sevens.
Beyond rugby, Maher has built a significant following on social media, using her platform to discuss women’s representation in sport and advocate for body positivity. In doing so, she has become the most followed rugby player in the world.
