img Brokers African FA Cup Rights Deal

The New World TV Group (NWTV) has secured the exclusive pay TV rights to broadcast the Emirates FA Cup exclusively in 17 countries across Africa in a deal brokered by IMG.


Under terms the agreement, NWTV will broadcast live French language coverage for all fixtures from the next two seasons of the annual football competition (2022/23 – 2023/24), alongside highlights.

IMG currently distributes the international media rights for the Emirates FA Cup, the FA Community Shield and the FA Youth Cup, excluding Western Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. 

The third round of the FA Cup will kick off on 6th January when Manchester United face Everton at Old Trafford.

Defending champions Liverpool will start their 2022/23 campaign against Wolverhampton Wanderers on 7th January, with the 2023 FA Cup final to be held on 3rd June at Wembley Stadium.
