IMG Media, the agency’s media rights selling arm, has renewed its contract with men’s tennis governing body the ATP to market the worldwide media rights for the ATP Masters Series.

The new deal, which runs for a further three years beginning 2007, will see IMG handle the broadcast sales for the series which incorporates the nine top tournaments outside of the Grand Slams as well as the prestigious season ending Tennis Masters Cup.

The renewal extends the association between the two parties, which has run for the past six years, through to the end of 2010.

The deal covers both television and new media rights the revenue from which has seen a major increase in recent years, especially from emerging tennis markets such as Eastern Europe and the Middle East.
