Arsenal has extended its partnership with currency transfer company WorldRemit.

The deal confirms the continuation of the pilot Future Stars programme, which started last year, where two football coaches from Africa or the Americas attend an exclusive development programme with Arsenal Football Development coaches in London.

UEFA has postponed a meeting between President Alexander Ceferin and the representative bodies of European clubs and Leagues which would have discussed Champions League reform.

A decision on any further future reform is unlikely to be made this year and the debate is set to continue.

The Vitality Netball Super League has announced details of the 2020 Season Opener, which will see all ten teams play on the same day in the Birmingham Arena across a full schedule of netball.

The Season Opener will be an additional round of competitive fixtures before the normal 18 game season and will count towards each team’s points total at the end of the regular season.

The extra round of matches sees each team face one of their nearest rivals on opening weekend based on each teams’ place in the 2019 table, with champions Manchester Thunder playing second-placed Wasps Netball and so on throughout the league.

The Rugby League World Cup 2021 (RLWC) organisers have announced a partnership with Manchester Metropolitan University, who will become a sponsor of the tournament.

The deal will see the university undertake an academic assessment of the impact the World Cup will have on the country through the creation of a full-time PhD scholarship to research and aid the RLWC’s ‘InspirationALL’ legacy programme which seeks to ensure the tournament leaves a positive impact on communities.
