ASICS has teamed up with textile development company PYRATES Smart Fabrics to create a new range of yoga products to debut on International Women’s Day.

To mark the day, 8th March, ASICS and PYRATES will launch a seven-piece yoga capsule collection designed and crafted by Spanish entrepreneur Regina Polanco, using the latter brand’s PYRATEX knit fabric.

The collection features natural, biodegradable dyes derived from plants and minerals, with colours sourced from Indian Madder Root, Mediterranean Oak Gall and Pomegranate, while the packaging will also be made from natural and reusable fabrics to further help reduce the adverse impact on the planet and encourage the reuse of the fabric bag itself.

The remaining 2022 Commonwealth Games will take place in the West Midlands between 27th July and 7th August 2022, but the new decision confirms that Chandigarh 2022 and Birmingham 2022 will be two separately organised and funded Commonwealth Sport events. READ MORE
