British Rowing has announced eve sleep as its Official Sleep Partner.
The three-year partnership will see the brand manage the sleep environment of the GB rowing team at home and on their travels, with a new ‘sleep den’ installed at the national training centre as well as bespoke travel kits for the athletes to use when travelling.
The Sleep Den will be stocked with eve products, selected by the British Rowing performance support team and eve sleep, and will include the eve original mattress, bespoke lighting and temperature controls to aid naps between training sessions.
The ECB has revealed the overseas players who will be available for selection in the The Hundred men’s draft, which takes place on Sunday 20th October and will be broadcast by the BBC and Sky Sports.
Each team will select 12 players, with a maximum of three overseas picks, who will join the England red-ball contracted players and local icons who have already been announced for each team.
Australian Ashes-retaining trip Steve Smith, David Warner and Mitchell Starc will be among the overseas players available, along with West Indies batsman Chris Gayle and Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan.
Bath Rugby have announced the extension of their partnership with Thatchers Cider, and will launch a special edition Farleigh Cider as part of the deal.
Apples grown in an orchard at the team’s training ground, Farleigh House, and hand-picked by Bath Rugby players and coaches will be used to make a limited edition batch of 120 bottles, which will be signed by the squad and auctioned at a later date with proceeds going to the Bath Rugby Foundation and the Thatchers Foundation.
The club has also signed an extension to its deal with gin suppliers Greenall’s.
Sport footwear brand Inov-8 has signed crossfit athlete Scott Panchik, billed as the fourth Fittest Man on Earth 2019, as a brand ambassador.
The announcement comes after Panchik’s CrossFit Open 20.1 showdown with Rich Froning, where he confirmed that he’ll be joining Froning’s CrossFit Mayhem Team for the 2020 Games.
