British Swimming has announced sports nutrition company Healthspan as its Official Supplier of Sports Nutrition Products, Sports Drinks and Sports Recovery Products in the build-up to this year’s Olympic Games Tokyo 2020.
The Guernsey-based company counts the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Southampton and the LTA as partners, and British Swimming says the products are guaranteed to be competition safe and tested under the Informed Sport programme for WADA banned substances.
DAZN has announced its most-streamed content of 2019, with the Anthony Joshua v Andy Ruiz II fight topping the rankings, and Liverpool Champions League games taking second and third places. In fifth place was the KSI v Logan Paul II fight – a hotly anticipated rematch between two YouTubers.
The company – which serves a global market but does not broadcast in the UK – says the findings demonstrate the success of UK sport and British talent on the global stage in 2019.
Betting company Kindred Group will donate some of the exposure rights from its sponsorship of the Men’s and Women’s 2020 EHF EUROS, held in Norway, Sweden and Austria.
The handball competition, which begins on 9th January, is sponsored by Kindred brand Unibet, but will instead promote the European Network of Active Living for Mental Health (ENALMH), a network working to promote the benefit of active living on mental health, during the games which will be played in Norway.
This agreement takes in both the men’s and women’s championships.
Genius Sports has announced the signing of an integrity partnership with new American football league XFL.
The London based sport content, technology and integrity company will provide monitoring of pre-game and live betting markets to the Vince McMahon-backed league, which is set for its debut season in 2020. Genius will also assist with investigations if needed.
XFL players, coaches and team staff will also be provided with a customised e-learning portal to explain the league’s regulations and their obligations to report potential rule breaches.
