Brompton Bicycle has revealed plans to open a new flagship store in Westfield London, as part of the global expansion of its network of Brompton Junction retail stores.

The new store in Europe’s largest shopping centre will include interactive bike build facilities and a live demo area, along with the brand’s first electric bike hire scheme in the UK.

It will open in April 2019, taking the number of global Brompton stores to 19.

To commemorate the opening of the new store and to mark the next chapter for Brompton in the company’s home city of London, a new special edition Brompton W12 edition will also be launched, with the name taken from the Shepherd’s Bush postcode of Westfield London.

Brompton saw a 7% increase its UK sales from 2017 to 2018 and expects to benefit further from the rapid growth of the E-Bike sector.
