Olympic medal-winning triathletes Alistair and Jonny Brownlee have been unveiled as the newest ambassadors for Volvo Car UK.
The move is a major development in the brand’s partnership with British Triathlon, and will see the pair join Lauren Steadman and John McAvoy as ambassadors for the car manufacturer.
Volvo became the official vehicle partner of British Triathlon in 2019.
The British Gymnastics Foundation’s seated activity programme, Love to Move, has been made available online for free and expanded to help older people stay physically and mentally active at home.
The programme is designed to get older people moving and functioning better, integrating the use of gymnastic foundation skills, cognitive stimulation therapy and social interaction activities.
The majority of the programme is based on movement patterns which work the left and right sides of the brain separately, benefiting older people and particularly those living with dementia and mild cognitive impairment.
Dugout has entered into a new video content partnership with Chinese digital platform, PP Sports.
The partnership, which Dugout says is the first of its kind between European and Chinese digital content providers, will see the Suning-owned PP Sports work to deliver Mandarin-language content to its 300 million fans in the country.
Golf brand Glenmuir has launched a new initiative to help retailers selling golf clothing and equipment sell products online.
The coronavirus lockdown has seen pro shop and high street golf retailers left unable to sell stock.
The brand’s Lockdown Vendor platform aims to help golf professionals and retailers ‘go digital’ and set up an online ordering facility. Glenmuir says it has also created a tutorial to help retailers set up their account in less than five minutes.
BT Sport will screen an entire evening dedicated to Tyson Fury on Saturday 18th April as it uses its archive footage to keep boxing fans entertained during the coronavirus lockdown.
Fury Fight Night will run from 7pm to 1am, and will showcase some of the boxer’s most recent and famous fights. Both Deontay Wilder bouts are included, as well as as other fights from Fury’s return to the ring.
The evening will also include exclusive behind the scenes content from No Filter Boxing and Round 12: Tyson Fury’s Resurrection, a documentary detailing an iconic Fury moment at the end of his first Wilder fight.
Ferrari has announced partnership with Motosport Network which will see a new channel created for the brand on the Motorsport.tv platform.
Coverage on the channel will include Competizioni GT, F1 Clienti, XX Programmes and the Ferrari Challenge (Europe, North America, Asia Pacific and UK) as well as video content featuring the brand’s road car range.
Motorsport Network will work with Ferrari to produce unique content as part of the programme.
