BT Sport has confirmed its coverage of the return of the Bundesliga, bringing live sport back to TV.

The German top flight will return to screens this weekend, although no fans will be present in stadiums.

For the remainder of the Bundesliga season, BT Sport has confirmed that it will broadcast every match live, as well as a Bundesliga Goals Show. Coverage will start on Saturday 16th May from 2pm with James Richardson and Raphael Honigstein joined from home by former Bayern Munich and England midfielder Owen Hargreaves.

Social distance protocols will be in place for Premier League clubs’ return to team training.

According to the BBC, tackling will be banned and players restricted to groups of five when training resumes.

Playing surfaces will be disinfected after each use, as will corner flags, balls, goalposts and other training equipment.

Kukri Sports will be Team England’s Official Kit Supplier for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, marking the third consecutive Commonwealth cycle in which it has played such a role.

As part of the deal, Kukri will create the kit that athletes will represent their country in, encompassing 19 different sports, including eight para sports. The brand has also held a virtual athlete panel, and each National Governing Body that represents Team England athletes was invited to nominate up to two athletes to be involved in creating the design for the kit and will be part of creating the Team England identity.

The panel was held via a virtual video conference and included 23 elite English athletes from 17 of the 19 Birmingham 2022 sports.

Also joining in their capacity as Commonwealth Games England board members, were the three athlete representatives, Aimee Willmott, Ama Agbeze, Ali Jawad, and Denise Lewis.

The Black Collective of Media in Sport (BCOMS) has announced that Drew Christie has been named as Chair of the organisation.

A founding member of BCOMS, Christie is a sports producer who spent more than a decade with the BBC before working for Abu Dhabi Sports and Sport360 in the Middle East
