BT Sport have announced the signing of boxer Carl Frampton as its lead pundit in a multi-year deal.

Frampton will join the broadcaster for all of its fight nights and will provide expert analysis for the coverage. He will also work with the digital team at BT Sport to develop their online offering around the sport.

The Northern Irishman recently retired from boxing, having been a two-weight world champion, and is represented by thinkBeyond Talent.


Soccer Aid for UNICEF has announced insurance and investment company Vitality as a partner for the 2021 charity match, which takes place on Saturday 4th September at Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium.

This will be the third year that Vitality has partnered with Soccer Aid for UNICEF, and this year’s partnership will include behind the scenes access with an array of talent who will be taking part in fitness related challenges designed to ‘inspire and encourage’ people to live healthier and more active lifestyles.


DAZN has announced a new global partnership with Snapchat which will give fans access to year-round boxing content, from behind-the-scenes access and clips, to fight highlights and original features as well as build-up content ahead of DAZN’s schedule of fights. 

The move marks the first time sports fans globally will be able to enjoy weekly boxing content on Snapchat, and will include a new DAZN Fight Week show, which premiered on the social media giant’s Discover platform on 31st August.

A minimum of 18 new episodes throughout the next year hitting in the weeks leading up to the biggest fights, as well as other recurring segments including news shows, weekly round-ups, and a segment called The Champ is Here, ranking the greatest boxing champions of all time.


Skateboard GB has announced the launch of a new initiative to create a talent pipeline for GB skateboarders in future international competitions.

Skateboard GB was awarded funding via UK Sport’s Progression Investment stream to test, trial and build a pathway that identifies and supports young talent.

The ‘Pipeline Pilot Project’, will begin in September 2021 and will focus on working with four trial skateparks to create and deliver activity, including how to identify talented skaters and gaining knowledge and understanding of what they need to help support them progress.

The future plan will be to use learnings from the ‘Pipeline Pilot Project’ to inform Skateboard GB to develop standards and guidelines for further Hubs involving more Skateboarders.
