Aston Villa Shirt Sponsor and Principal Partner Cazoo, has announced that it will donate £1,000 to The Aston Villa Foundation, the club’s Official Charity, for every goal scored by the first team in the Premier League this season and £1,000 for every goal scored by the women’s team in the FA Women’s Super League.
The ‘Golden Goals’ campaign is now entering its second season, with the online car retailer having donated £57,000 to the Aston Villa Foundation last season, and £48,000 to Everton In the Community – with a similar programme running for Cazoo’s other Premier League club, the Toffees.
The RFU has announced the extension of its long-term partnership with commercial real estate services and investment firm CBRE.
The relationship between the pair dates back to 2014, and will continue for another four years as part of the new deal.
CBRE will continue to provide property consultancy and advisory services, as well as significant upgrade and improvement works to Twickenham Stadium under the new agreement. According to th RFU, the works include the replacement of the East Stand roof and the development of the RFU’s long-term sustainability and energy management strategy as well as its facilities management services.
Event Agency Threshold Sports has announced the acquisition of the Endure24 event series from Race Solutions Ltd.
The 24-hour trail running relay race was launched in 2012, led by founder and Race Director Chris Sumner. In 2019 more than 10,000 people attended the weekend events to race as solo runners, compete in sociable teams of up to 12, or to provide support through the dark hours.
Threshold Sports – which was founded in 2008 – says the Endure24 events are an ‘ideal’ addition to its existing events portfolio, as they ‘continue their journey of making make world class endurance challenges accessible, achievable and enjoyable for more people’.
