Celtic have announced Sunset+Vine Scotland, the Glasgow based division of the TV sport production and media company, as its production partner.
As part of the deal, Sunset+Vine Scotland will produce matchday programming for the club’s Virtual Season Ticket offering – an initiative announced by the SPFL to allow fans to watch any matches taken behind closed doors due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Sunset+Vine has led production for BT Sport’s coverage of the SPFL and Europa League in the past seasons.
Sport England has launched a call for innovative solutions to reduce inequalities as well as providing help for those most affected by the impact of coronavirus to get active.
The call is aimed at individuals or organisations who can help break down ‘barriers to activity that have long-existed but have been exacerbated by coronavirus,’ and can specifically support women, people on low incomes, people from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds, disabled people or people living with long-term health conditions.
Sport England says it will support successful applicants with a combination of advice, further training, insight, access to connections across the industry, as well as funding.
Birmingham 2022 has announced a 24-hour change to the event’s start date in a bid to avoid clashes with sporting events moved due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
The Games will now begin on 28th July 2022, and will through to 8th August 2022, being pushed back one day in order to align with the World Athletics Championships, to be held in Eugene, Oregon, as well as the UEFA Women’s Football Championships, held in England.
The dates mean that the Games now cover two full weekends of action, while the Opening Ceremony will not clash with the semi-finals of Euro 2022, which are due to be held in Sheffield and Milton Keynes ahead of the, on 31st July, at Wembley.

The brand has signed an initial one-year deal with the NGB, and British Swimming says both it and Lebara are aligned by a spirit of community and high performance.
East London Director-Producer partners Meldrum Dent have announced the launch of their creative agency, Something Creative.
Meldrum Dent launched two years ago, founded by Stu Meldrum and Chris Dent, who will be joined by Paul McNicholl as a fellow co-founder of Something Creative, who will bring ten years’ experience agency-side, and most recently working with 160over90.
The launch coincides with the news that Something Creative will be the lead production partner for the online spin class community, Apex, and will be responsible for all workout class content and the daily live workouts when the brand launches in the summer of 2020.
The MCC has announced Enotria&Coe as the Official Wine and Spirits Supplier at Lord’s Cricket Ground.
The four-year deal will see the UK wine supplier provide premium wines and spirits to MCC’s matchday and non-matchday businesses.
The company will also provide training and education for staff serving guests and handling wine at the ground.
