Chance to Shine has announced a new partnership with Unilever hygiene brand Lifebuoy, which will become the charity’s first official Hygiene Partner.
The partnership will provide Lifebuoy products to the charity’s specialist coaches across England and Wales, as well as developing hygiene themed resources for teachers and pupils – entitled the ‘Clean Catch’, which will make resources available on Chance to Shine’s online portal.
The move extends Lifebuoy’s involvement in cricket, following the announcement of agreements with the ECB as well as the new format of the sport The Hundred, set to debut this summer.
Harlequins Women have partnered with female performance and bio marking company Orreco, which produces the FitrWoman app and FitrCoach platforms.
The Allianz Premier 15s team has become the first rugby club to partner with the brand, which will provide its female Athlete Consultancy program elite and academy players, as well as running educational workshops with amateur and grassroots women’s teams through the Harlequins Foundation.
Orreco already partners with the likes of WSL Champions Chelsea, as well as a number of US teams and athletes including WNBA legends Sue Bird and Nneka Ogwuinike, and provides individualised reports to help manage nutrition, recovery and wellness around the menstrual cycle of athletes ensuring they can perform at peak levels.
McLaren Racing has announced a new multi-year partnership with sports betting and entertainment group Entain, which will see the group’s PartyCasino and PartyPoker brands feature as team partners from the Monaco Grand Prix onwards.
Entain will use the partnership to explore strategies to promote safer betting and gaming, with the pair aligning on the areas of ‘maintaining control and managing risk’.
Wigan Warriors have announced a new multi-year partnership with healthy nutrition brand The Skinny Food Co.
Marking the brand’s first sports partnership, The Skinny Food Co logo will appear on the collar positions of the first team playing shirts across the Warriors’ men’s and women’s teams.
The Skinny Food Co will also incorporate its product range into the club’s high-performance programme to support player diet and nutrition, whilst the two parties will collaborate on a series of fan engagement and community initiatives to encourage healthy eating and wellbeing.
Portman Travel Group – which owns business and consumer travel agencies Clarity Sports and Sportsbreaks.com – has announced the acquisition of sports development tour operator Inspiresport Limited.
The deal aims to further establish Portman Travel Group’s expansion into the sports travel market, which is already aimed at the business and fan travel markets.
Inspiresport currently offers access to clubs, coaches, and facilities, taking young players of all abilities on sporting journeys around the world.
