Joan Mills MBE has been named England Netball President, replacing Lindsay Sartori in the role after five years at the helm.

Mills joins from her position as International Netball Federation Technical Delegate for both the 2014 Commonwealth Games and the 2019 Vitality Netball World Cup.


Basketball legend Michael Jordan has joined up with three-time Daytona 500 winner Deny Hamlin to create a brand new NASCAR team – with Bubba Wallace, the only black driver in the championship, as lead.

Jordan has claimed that the team will ‘educate a new audience’ and is aimed at ‘opening more opportunities for black people in racing.’ In June this year it was reported that Wallace had found a noose in his garage stall in what was believe to be a racist attack, however an FBI investigation concluded otherwise.


Online training platform Zwift has launched its first ‘Zwift Academy Run’ programme, providing those who enrol with running tips, training, and the chance to start the 2021 Berlin Marathon.

The Academy will feature eight workout training programmes and will be run by Olympic coach Terence Mahn and three-time Olympian Jen Rhines.


The NFL has handed out more than $1 million in fines against three teams and their coaches that were captured not wearing masks during this weekend’s games.

The Seattle Seahawks, Denver Broncos and San Francisco 49ers were all handed sanctions, while respective coaches Pete Carroll, Vic Fangio and Kyle Shanahan were each fined $100,000 in a move that could set a precedence across world sport.
