Ford and Eurosport have announced a new digital content partnership which will explore the future of motorsport and bring to life the automaker’s ‘electrification promise’ across the continent.

Developed by Eurosport, the series will feature the drivers, engineers and scientists at the forefront of the sport’s transformation, and will follow several Ford projects to bring hybrid and fully-electric technology to the sport, as well as its new EEG racing helmet, which scans electrical brain activity to measure and enhance driver performance.

The collaboration, established in conjunction with Mindshare, the global agency network that is part of WPP, will also make use of Discovery’s global scale by tapping into the digital reach of its Group Nine Media brand, Seeker.

The LTA has announced that Dunlop will become its Official Tennis & Padel Equipment Partner from January 2021.

The three-year deal will also see the British sports equipment brand become the Official Stringing Service for players at the LTA’s programme of summer major events, as well as becoming the organisation’s Official Tennis Equipment Partner, replacing existing partner Babolat.

The deal will see Dunlop scoop rights to design, produce and sell tennis hardware products bearing the LTA and Partner mark.

The Voice, the only national black newspaper operating in the UK, has become the first Official Media Partner of the Rugby League World Cup 2021 (RLWC2021).

The partnership will see The Voice recruit its first ever Rugby League reporter, James Aldred, who is currently a Masters Student in Broadcast Journalism at Nottingham Trent University and the Sports Editor of University Radio Nottingham.

The Voice’s Sports and Features Editor – and Co-Founder of the Football Black List, whose 2020 edition was published today – Rodney Hinds, has been a member of the RLWC2021 Business Advisory Group since 2019, and recently supported the creation of the tournament’s diversity and inclusion action plan. Both parties will also collaborate to promote the tournament including a commitment to editorial and commercial opportunities.

Two-time Olympic Gold Medallist Caeleb Dressel will wear a banned Speedo swimsuit as part of an attempt to break the 20-second barrier in the 50m (short course) event, where he currently holds the world record.

The US swimmer – who currently holds no fewer than six world records – will wear the 2008 Speedo LZR Racer swimsuit in a bid to see how fast he can go using the suit, which was outlawed after 94% of swimming gold medals at the 2008 Beijing Olympics were won by athletes in the suit.

Nottinghamshire CCC has announced a new five-year deal with SecuTix that will see the ticketing engagement platform become the Ticketing Technology Partner at Trent Bridge.

Using the SecuTix 360° platform, the club will aim to grow its fanbase, as well as drive profitable growth and reduce operating costs.

The platform will also be used for transactions relating to matchday parking, hampers and gift vouchers, as well as hospitality.
