Jaguar UK has renewed its partnership with The AELTC for a further five years, continuing as the Official Car of The Championships.
The brand will supply a fleet of vehicles to support event operations, but in addition, it will also work with its long-standing partner to ‘unearth the stories behind the iconic British sporting event’.
2021 will see the launch of Jaguar’s ‘Unmatched Experiences’ campaign as it looks to showcase Wimbledon’s protagonists, intricacies and traditions through unique perspectives.
It will also continue the Jaguar Ace Pace Wimbledon Edition app, giving fans the opportunity to measure the effectiveness of their tennis serve, while challenging Jaguar’s roster of brand ambassadors in national challenges and competitions.
Extreme E has joined forces with online sustainability platform, Volta Future Positive (VOLTA), to tell the wider stories of the series around its key pillars – electrification, environment, equality and entertainment.
Established in 2019, VOLTA is an online sustainability platform, focussing on promoting solutions and highlighting positive action that can be taken to combat the climate crisis.
The two entities will work together to bring behind the scenes action, science, technology as well as storytelling around Extreme E’s Legacy Programme to the forefront through interviews with drivers, scientists, and partnered projects, THe pair will also produce deep dives, articles, news stories, podcasts, videos, and competitions.
Breitling and IRONMAN have signed a new long-term partnership, as well as launching a co-design range of Endurance Pro IRONMAN watches – a special series of Breitling’s flagship athleisure watch.
The launch features two new watches: a red version available globally at all Breitling boutiques and retailers, and a black and gold piece exclusively available for IRONMAN race finishers. Additional models reserved for the IRONMAN community are planned for the coming months.
It follows the 2019 launch of the Breitling Superocean IRONMAN Limited Edition, and kicks off a long-term collaboration which will see Breitling becoming the Official Luxury Watch of IRONMAN.
England Golf has appointed Chris Pascall as president-elect of the body for 2022.
Pascall, who has played for and captained her country during a successful amateur career, will succeed Lancashire’s Les Wilson as President.
She spent eight years as an England selector and captained 15 different England teams at events such as the Home Internationals and European Team Championships.
Pascall is currently captain of the Durham County Ladies’ Golf Association and also spent four years as the voting member for Durham on England Golf matters between 2015 and 2018.
