Liverpool has upgraded its sponsorship deal with French insurance firm AXA, which will become a principal partner and the official training kit partner of the Premier League football club.
The new deal is effective from the 2019-20 season. AXA’s branding will feature on Liverpool’s New Balance-designed training apparel as part of the agreement.
AXA, which partnered with Liverpool last year, will continue to work with the club’s men’s and women’s teams, managers, coaches and health professionals to promote healthy wellbeing and lifestyle.
Premier League club Bournemouth has extended shirt sponsorship deals with online gaming companies M88 and Mansion Group for the 2019-20 season.
As part of M88’s club-record deal with Bournemouth, the company’s logo will continue to feature on the front of the team’s kits. It will also benefit from social media content and pitchside branding at Vitality Stadium.
Mansion Group will continue to serve as Bournemouth’s sleeve sponsor as part of its one-year extension.
The Lawn Tennis Association has announced that the Scotland ATP Challenger tournament will be renamed the Murray Trophy – Glasgow in tribute to the Murray family’s contribution to the sport.
This year’s tournament will be held at Scotstoun Leisure Centre from 16th-22nd September and will form part of the new and expanded international calendar of tournaments being staged by the LTA this year.
The LTA is collaborating with Glasgow Life and Tennis Scotland to deliver the event and has also worked with Jamie Murray for several months in developing the tournament for 2019.
The local organising committee for the 2021 Rugby League World Cup in England has revealed the 16 locations that will host participating nations and serve as team base camps.
The locations that have been selected are: Allerdale, Bolton, Doncaster, Hull, Leeds, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Preston, Sheffield, St Helens, Tees Valley, Trafford/Salford, Warrington, Wigan/Leigh and York.
The announcement comes after the host venues for the tournament were confirmed back in January. Manchester’s Old Trafford stadium will host the men’s and women’s finals in a double-header.
