Mailman Group, which includes Chinese digital agency Mailman and the UK-based Seven League, has opened a new ‘virtual office’ in the Los Angeles.
The agency says the move will give its US clients better service to engage with the Asian and European markets.
The group’s US business will be led by Gideon Clark, who has worked for the agency in China for the past six years. Mailman’s US clients include sports leagues such as the NHL and NBA, as well as teams like the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings.
European rugby’s 2020 Champions Cup and Challenge Cup finals will be moved to new venues after organisers, EPCR, moved its Marseille finals to 2021.
Due to uncertainty around the safety of travelling teams and fans, and the EPCR board and the local organising committee have decided to stage the finals at the Stade Velodrome a year later than scheduled.
The move will see the 2022 finals, scheduled for the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, pushed back until 2022, while ‘an alternative venue or venues’ for the 2020 finals – set to take place in late September – will be announced at a later date.
Cricket almanac and magazine Wisden has appointed Snack Media as it looks to drive digital engagement.
Wisden says it has identified the 2020 season as a period of growth for its website, and Snack Media will monetise content, as well as drive traffic via a suite of fan engagement tools.
