Manchester City partner Cisco has unveiled a new campaign in support of the club.
The ‘Blue Moon’ campaign saw the brand team up with sports marketing agency Octagon and video production agency Milkmoney and the initiative features City fans around the world singing a version of the club anthem.
Celebrity fans such as Jason Manford and Ricky Hatton, women’s team stars Steph Houghton and Jill Scott, and men’s club legends Micah Richards and Joleon Lescott all starred alongside City fans in a video which was then shown to current first-teamers with the brand tracking their reactions to the fans’ message (above).
The R&A has enlisted Justin Rose and Graeme McDowell to launch the e-Open presented by Mastercard.
The pair, both ambassadors for the financial services company, will face off in a live exhibition match on Wednesday 12th August as part of the tournament, which will then run until the Grand Final on 8th September.
The showcase encounter between the two major champions will build up to the knockout rounds of the tournament, which saw qualifying rounds begin on 13th July. Heineken celebrated the Emirates Formula 1 70th Anniversary Grand Prix, by screening a socially distanced, non-alcoholic drive-in screening of the race for NHS workers at Mercedes-Benz World in Weybridge.
Specially designed to say thank you to frontline NHS staff for their efforts during the pandemic, the activation was hosted by Heineken 0.0% and formed part of F1’s Official Global Beer Partner’s When you Drink, Never Drive campaign.
The full-day experience brought together F1 fans from within the UK’s healthcare service and included a special welcome message from F1 legend and Heineken ambassador, David Coulthard as well as Mercedes-Benz World passenger rides.

The NBA has named Victor Williams as the CEO of NBA Africa, a newly-created role announced by NBA Commissioner Adam Silver.
Williams, who has spent the last five years as Executive Head of Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB), Africa Regions, Standard Bank Group, will be based in the league’s Johannesburg office and report to NBA Deputy Commissioner and Chief Operating Officer Mark Tatum.
He will oversee the league’s basketball and business development initiatives in Africa and will be responsible for continuing to grow the popularity of basketball and the NBA across the continent through grassroots development, media distribution and corporate partnerships.
