Manchester City have announced wellness technology company Therabody as its new Official Recovery Partner.

The partnership – which also features other City Football Group clubs Melbourne City, Sichuan Jiuniu FC and Mumbai City – will aim to reduce the risk of injury and optimise player recovery.

The news comes after the Premier League leaders began incorporating Theragun percussive massage therapy devices and RP Sports’ RecoveryPump, which was recently acquired by Therabody, into its training and recovery programs in early 2020.


UK Athletics has announced Healthspan Elite as its Official Sports Nutrition Supplier. 

The three-year partnership will see high-performance athletes on the Olympic and Paralympic World Class Programme (WCP) given access to Informed-Sport accredited, and batch-tested vitamins, and supplements to support their nutritional needs.

The move adds to Healthspan Elite’s growing sport portfolio which includes Tottenham Hotspur, The All Blacks, British Cycling and British Swimming. 


London based brand experience agency The Park has officially announced its expansion into Australia with the appointment of local Managing Director, Erika Morton.

Morton has more than 20 years’ experience in the industry, having spent her career working with communications agencies M&C Saatchi Group and Clemenger Group. 

She has also worked on campaigns for major brands such as Audi, Reebok and Visa, as well as Australian broadcaster Optus and financial services provider Commonwealth Bank.


Disability advocacy charity Activity Alliance has appointed Run Communications to increase its profile within the sport, leisure and third sectors and raise awareness of disabled people’s real life stories of being active. 

The charity is a voice for disabled people within the sport and physical activity sector, while Run Communications will provide strategic media and PR support across a remit of upcoming milestone events.


GB Wheelchair Rugby (GBRW) has announced that its CEO David Pond is to step down after the Tokyo Paralympic Games, after more than eleven years in charge of the organisation.

The GBWR Board will start the search for its next CEO to build on the growth of the past decade, and with UK Sport funding recently secured for the Paris 2024 cycle.

The deadline for applications is 7th April 2021.
