Manchester City has announced the launch of a new collaborative partnership with esports organisation FaZe Clan as the club looks to ‘merge the worlds of esports and football.’

The partnership will see content and fan experiences created in partnership with the esports organisation, with Manchester City players joining FaZe talent in online video content. The pair will also merge their competitive FIFA players, bringing them together in a shared training facility.


McLaren has announced a return to Mercedes engines from the start of the 2021 season after signing a four-year deal.

The deal will see McLaren return to a supply deal with the German engine manufacturer, having worked with them until 2015 before signing on with Honda and, most recently, Renault. The British team’s deal with the French manufacturer runs out at the end of the 2020 season, when they will make the switch back to Mercedes.


The UCI has awarded the hosting rights to its 2022 and 2024 Track World Championships to Paris’s Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines and Copenhagen’s Ballerup respectively.

The 2022 Championships in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines will take place in the build-up to the 2024 Paris Olympics, where the suburb will also host the track cycling events.

Meanwhile, the cycling’s governing body has also announced Nantes as the host venue for the 2022 BMX World Championships, while Rock Hill in the USA will host the 2024 edition.


Ironman has announced Graz as a new host city, which will see the series add a third Austrian venue to the Ironman 70.3 calendar. The race will replace the discontinued Ironman 70.3 St Polten race, which also took place in the country.
