The MCC has announced that its first ‘Legacy Tour’ will see the club tour Nepal for three years from 2019 to 2021.

It is the beginning of a three-year partnership between MCC and Nepal to support the nation’s growing cricket programme as well as to help rebuild communities devastated by the 2015 earthquake.

The MCC has also announced that, following a record-breaking summer of cricket in terms of attendance for the ECB, it has embarked on an extensive review of Lord’s ticketing offerings, with a number of new hospitality options available for 2020.

Manchester United are celebrating a Premier League milestone with a live stream across each of their digital platforms.

The Red Devils became the first team to reach the landmark of 2,000 Premier League goals when they beat Norwich City 3-0, and will live stream all of the goals on YouTube, MUTV and the official club app, where the club will memorialise the milestone with a box-set style collection split into 27 parts for each of the club’s seasons in the Premier League.

M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment has announced that it will open a new office in Amsterdam from January 2020, the agency’s seventh around the world.

The new office will be headed up by long-term M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment Business Director Toan Ravenscroft and former Head of Innovation and Strategy Director at M&C Saatchi London, Jasper Hunter.

The agency says that the opening comes as a response to increased client demand for a footprint in Amsterdam. Existing retained business with Heineken will establish the marketing and sponsorship specialists’ client list in the city, and new business development will have a focus on clients located in Amsterdam, the Netherlands and the Benelux region.

The previous record was set in England four years ago, when 1 million people attended fan parks. That number has already been surpassed this year in Japan, with the competition’s set-piece finale yet to come.
