Newcastle United will sign with sportswear brand Castore next season, ending an 11-year association with Puma, according to multiple reports.

The sportswear brand first entered football earlier this year, signing a deal with Rangers and promising more sports partnerships in the coming months.

Since then, the brand has signed with the West Indies Cricket Team. It also has a long-standing partnership with three-time tennis grand slam champion Andy Murray.


Crystal Palace attacker Wilfried Zaha has signed with Roc Nation Sports, joining the likes of Kevin de Bryune, Marcus Rashford and Romelu Lukaku at the agency.

The recruitment of Wilfried Zaha follows Roc Nation’s announcement of Alan Redmond as Head of Football. The FA Licensed Agent will lead on a strategic approach for agency on-field football representation.


World Athletics has expanded its Indoor Tour for 2021, with the introduction of a new three-tier system of competition.

26 meetings will take place across 12 countries in Europe and North America, broadening the geographical spread of the series and will see a restructure of prize money to allow the governing body to give more funding to additional meets, with prize money increased or maintained, despite the financial impact the coronavirus pandemic could have on the indoor season.

Six gold events will take place throughout January and February, beginning in Karlsruhe in Germany on 29th January, and ending with an event in Madrid on 24th February.


Matchroom has signed a new multi-fight partnership deal with fintech brand Lanistar.

The deal began ahead of Oleksandr Usyk’s victory over Derek Chisora, and will include a number of upcoming fights promoted by Matchroom. The brand will also partner with the promoter ahead of the WBC World Lightweight title holder Devin Haney’s return to action at Hard Rock Live in Florida on 7th November.


China’s Quanhai Li has been elected as President, World Sailing, with the announcement made at the organisation’s first virtual General Assembly. Li defeated the incumbent, Kim Andersen, to secure election, winning by 68 votes to 60.
