Nike has unveiled the new yellow Premier League match ball which will be used during the winter period of the 2019/20 season.
The Nike Hi-Vis Merlin is inspired by the iconic Total 90 Aerow Hi-Vis ball, which made its debut in the 2004/05 season, and will feature a nod to its predecessor with the Total 90 logo placed on one of the panels.
The Premier League will officially adopt the ball on the 25th October – the weekend the clocks go back – but it will be available to the public from 1st October.
Alberto Salazar, Head Coach of the Nike Oregon Project, has been banned from athletics for four years after being found guilty of doping violations by USADA.
The decision was taken to ban Sir Mo Farah’s former coach after a two-year investigation. Salazar maintains his innocence, and says he will appeal the ruling.
4global has announced details of its work on the Pan and Parapan American Games which took place in Lima, Peru in July and August.

Sky New Zealand has appointed Neil Martin as Global CEO of OTT rugby service and publisher RugbyPass.
The broadcaster purchased the site earlier this year, and has moved to appoint the former Sky UK exec, who will also be tasked with establishing a European headquarters.
Trading platform SportStack has appointed sports marketing agency Blueprint Sports to oversee the brand’s strategy, launch and implementation.
The platform, which allows users to speculate on player performance, will officially launch in the coming months.
