As part of the FA’s continued partnership with Pokémon, the two organisations have launched the ‘Master Your Skill’ campaign, encouraging kids from across the country to develop and share their skills during lockdown.
Players are driven to submit videos showcasing their skills on Twitter and Instagram with #MasterYourSkill for the chance to win a Pokémon branded futsal ball, and the launch saw England stars Raheem Sterling and Tammy Abraham, former players Joe Cole and Rachel Yankey, and Youtuber Tekkerz Kid give it a go themselves.
Commonwealth Games England has unveiled the make-up of its Athlete Advisory Group as it continues preparations ahead of the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.
Chaired by CGE President Denise Lewis OBE, the panel will include swimmer Aimee Willmott, three-time Paralympic champion Ali Jawad, para-swimming Olympic and Commonwealth Champion Alice Tai MBE, triathlete Ali Brownlee, former Vitality Rose Ama Agbeze, cricket Amy Jones, sprinter Anyika Onuora and Gold Coast 2018 squash medallist Declan James.
British Wheelchair Basketball have today announced a new four-year partnership with British kit manufacturer Kukri Sports.
The deal will see Kukri design and manufacture a bespoke Great Britain apparel range for the sport’s national squads, as well as for clubs and participants and every level of the game.
Made by Sport has launched a new campaign entitled ‘Clubs in Crisis’, calling for grassroots sport organisations across the UK to submit stories of the issues they’ve faced during the coronavirus pandemic and how they have reacted to help their communities.
