The Premier League has announced the signing of its first TV deal of new media rights cycle.

Streaming company Nordic Entertainment Group (NENT Group), has secured the exclusive Swedish, Norwegian, Danish and Finnish media rights in a six year deal that runs from 2022 to 2028. NENT Group currently holds the Premier League rights in Sweden, Denmark and Finland until 2022.

The Premier League rights in the Nordic region are the first to be sold in any geography for the cycle beginning with the 2022/2023 season.


The Dons Trust, the fan-run ownership body of AFC Wimbledon, is calling on investors and football fans from across the UK to sign up for a new bond scheme that will help the club return to its old ground of Plough Lane.

The Plough Land Bond offers annual returns of up to 4% and the Trust is looking to raise between £5m to £11m, with a minimum investment starting from £1k and loans running for five, ten and twenty-year terms.

Aberdeen FC has unveiled US-based Allstars United SC as its first-ever International Club Partner.

Following the club’s strategic partnership with Atlanta United, this new announcement will see Aberdeen share its coaching curriculum with Allstars United for their exclusive use, whilst coaches from the Scottish Premiership club will visit the the California-based outfit to deliver coaching workshops and share best practice.


WOW HYDRATE has become the Official Sports Hydration Partner of Matchroom Boxing.

The sport drinks brand says it is set to receive branding across the ring apron, water bottles, towels and buckets around the ringside, while hydration station will be set up backstage to assist boxers. The brand will also have a presence at Matchroom Boxing’s press conferences and social channels.
