Bristol Sport, the entity behind Championship side Bristol City, Gallagher Premiership outfit Bristol Bears and BBL unit the Bristol Flyers has announced a new partnership with PT SportSuite.
The digital media and collaboration platform will create a new digital home for Bristol Sport, bringing the infrastructure of all three teams in line with that of a modern media house. The move, which represents PT SportSuite parent company Publisher’s Toolbox’s first step into sport, follows a nine month journey for the organisation into customising its digital products specifically for sport organisations.
Previously, the firm worked with traditional publishers and broadcasting groups to deliver digital transformation projects.

Former Sports Minister and Sport Industry NextGen 2020 coach Tracey Crouch MP has launched a new podcast for communications agency The Playbook, for whom she is currently an advisor.
On the anniversary of the publication of the Loneliness Strategy by Theresa May’s government in 2018 when Crouch was the world’s first Loneliness Minister, the podcast will focus on how brands can tackle isolation and exclusion.
The 2020 Tour de France route has been revealed, with the Grand Depart heading to Nice for just the second time – after waving the race off in 1981. The race itself, meanwhile, will 29 climbs, six mountain finishes but only 36km of time trialing, believed to be a subtle move from organisers ASO to favour French racers Julian Alaphillipe and Thibaut Pinot rather than 2019 winner Egan Bernal and his Team INEOS riders.
The race will also start a week earlier than usual in 2020, on Saturday 27th June, ending on Sunday 19th July, to allow riders to fly to Tokyo for the Olympic Games road race on Saturday 25th July.
