The RFU has penned a five-year extension with Official Champagne Supplier Bollinger.
The deal will see the brand become one of England Rugby’s longest serving suppliers with the partnership set to celebrate 20 years in 2021. That will coincide with the RFU’s 150th anniversary.
Matchday activation and branding rights are also included in the partnership, with Bollinger presented to men’s and women’s Player of the Match winners across the Quilter Internationals and Quilter Cup games. The Champagne brand will also remain the Official Champagne of Twickenham Stadium, and will retain the Bollinger tent in the stadium’s fan zone.
UK Active has announced a three-year research project with national disability charity Sense. The partnership will undertake research aimed at better understanding the needs of parents and families of disabled children.
Parents of disabled children are encouraged to feed back on the challenges they face when it comes to accessing sport and physical activity, by completing an online survey.
The project will then explore the barriers and motivations of families, and also look at access to provision, the challenges of families being active together, the impact on siblings with no disability, and if there are differences between community and education provision.
11th Hour Racing Team has signed British technical sailing brand Musto as an official supplier.
The three-year deal will see the brand provide the team with high-performance clothing on and off the water for the team’s campaign focused on the next edition of The Ocean Race in 2021.
As part of the partnership, Musto will also collaborate with 11th Hour Racing Team to innovate and develop the next generation of HPX, Musto’s top industry-leading ocean sailing collection, while Musto will also be provided with on-going and prompt feedback on key performance products.
Sky Sports has confirmed that Jacqui Oatley present its regular Sunday Supplement programme after the departure of Neil Ashton.
The former Chief Football Reporter for The Sun presented the Sky Sports show for seven-and-a-half years, but has since left to found his own company, Ashton Media Group, and has taken up a PR Advisor role at Manchester United.
Private gym operator Anytime Fitness UK has announced that Stuart Broster will stand down from his role as CEO from April 2020.
Current Chief Operating Officer Neil Randall, who joined the company in 2018 as Sales and Marketing Director, has been appointed as his successor by the Board of Directors.
