Sir Andy Murray’s AMC brand has launched its first range of merino wool performance kit,  developed in collaboration with The Woolmark Company. 

The first-of-its-kind wool blend tennis apparel collection has been engineered with Merino wool to enhance athletic performance, and will be worn by the three-time Grand Slam champion as he returns to action at Wimbledon this year.

SNTV, a joint venture between IMG and The Associated Press, has launched Story10 – a new audience engagement network that aims to help brands, federations, and sport organisations place their messaging in the sports news agenda. 

The service aims to enable brands to ‘respond to culture-shaping issues’ with editorial addressing globally relevant topics including mental health, well-being, sustainability, and diversity. 

Currently working with Extreme E and SailGP, Story10 calls on the experience of SNTV’s editorial team to advise and craft bespoke branded content that matches the values of brands and sporting organisations before distributing it to targeted audiences across all platforms. 

Production agency Shoot the Company has announced the hire of new Senior Producer, Dave Reynolds. 

Reynolds joins Shoot the Company having produced for broadcasters including BBC, BT Sport, IMG, ITV, CBS and Sky Sports.

The move comes as the Shoreditch-based agency expands its team, with the announcement of two other hires, including Anna McNutt as Production Assistant and Finn O’Hara as Junior Editor. READ MORE

BT Sport has announced that Canadian journalist Ariel Helwani has joined its line-up of UFC pundits.

Helwani joins the likes of Michael Bisping, Dan Hardy, Adam Catterall, Caroline Pearce, and Nick Peat, to provide UFC analysis, action and reaction on BT Sport. 

Coventry-based event management company, Stadium, has signed a three-year deal with Wigan Athletic and Phoenix 2021 Limited – which owns the DW Stadium in Wigan – to provide 170 staff for at least 40 Wigan Athletic and Wigan Warriors matches.

The deal, which sees Stadium supply operations managers, head stewards, corporate hospitality security and stewards, arena stewards, and car park marshals, will also include a variety of other public events held at the stadium.
