Sport England and UK Sport have announced that their jointly produced Code for Sports Governance will undergo a review.

The pair say they will look at areas where the code would benefit from further development, particularly including around equality, diversity and inclusion issues, and check it against current governance best practice from other sectors.

The review will focus particularly on the boards of sporting organisations, aimed at ensuring greater representation of people from BAME backgrounds, as well as disabled people, people with a long-term health condition, and female representation.

INEOS TEAM UK has appointed Amazon Web Services (AWS) as its Cloud Computing Provider in a bid to optimise its America’s Cup yacht as it bids to become the first British team to win the event.

The team will leverage AWS’s high performance computing to design, test, and optimise its AC75 challenger boat.

INEOS TEAM UK say new rules for next year’s edition of the America’s Cup will mean teams are not able to conduct wind tunnel testing on boats, and will therefore have to depend on simulations to a much larger degree when it comes to designing and refining their vessels.
