Super League Triathlon has announced a new partnership with foreign exchange brand OFX.
The money transfer company will become a Global Partner to the league for 2021 ‘and beyond’.
As part of the partnership, the pair will focus their marketing initiatives to ‘grow sport of triathlon’, while the brand will help the rights holder deliver a global events calendar in 2021, as well as assisting with FX transactions.

The initiative will see the organisation partner with Kenny Logan’s Logan Sports Marketing and Saracens player Schalk Burger’s Welbedacht Estate winery in South Africa to launch a Bordeaux blend with five grape varieties, representing Weir’s shirt.

The Mirpuri Foundation has launched a new international sustainability award, The Mirpuri Foundation Ocean Award, to recognise excellence in the scientific community and reward the most innovative projects designed to positively impact the health of the ocean.
The winner will be announced on World Environment Day 2021 (which takes place on 5th June) during the awards ceremony at the close of the annual Mirpuri Foundation Sailing Trophy – presented during the Cascais stopover of The Ocean Race Europe.
London Youth Rowing (LYR) has appointed former British rower and three-time Olympic gold medallist Andrew Triggs Hodge as its Director of Corporate Engagement.
In his new role, the 42-year-old will focus on expanding the charity’s reach into new areas as well as creating new networks to support its fundraising.
Triggs Hodge has been involved with the charrity for more than five years and began volunteering in November, running LYR’s Race The Thames fundraising event, which raised over £120,000 for 40 different charities including LYR.
LaLiga President Javier Tebas has been proposed by European Leagues as its representative on the UEFA Executive Committee for the next 4 years.
Set to be ratified at the UEFA Congress on 20th April, Tebas – who is a member of the European Leagues Board – will replace Lars-Christer Olsson, the outgoing president of European Leagues and former president of the Swedish professional league.
The European Leagues, meanwhile, will not immediately replace Olsson, with the duties of the President initially carried out by the organisation’s Board.
The ECB will consider making changes to the cricketing terminology used during The Hundred, its new 100 ball format of the sport.
In a bid to ensure the sport is accessible to a new audience, the tournament could replace terms such as ‘wickets’ with ‘outs’.
The format has already updated the game, with the traditional six-ball over changed to ten balls from each end. It will also feature eight new city-based franchise teams, instead of traditional county sides.
