TalkSPORT and FareShare have teamed up in a bid to support Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford’s #EndChildFoodPoverty campaign.

The radio station will take over the charity’s Deptford headquarters in London to air its talkSPORT Breakfast show, while other on-air talent will visit FareShare centres across the day – including the FareShare Manchester Centre, where the new warehouse is named after Rashford’s mother, Melanie.

Throughout the day, talkSPORT will also visit various FareShare Centres across the UK and broadcasting live to highlight the need for more volunteers throughout lockdown.

Brett Gosper has encouraged a Rugby World Cup bid from the United States of America.

The World Rugby CEO said that the organisation would welcome a bid from the country for the 2027 or 2031 editions of the tournament, saying it would be a ‘very strong contender and stating there is ‘no commercial market like the United States’.

Mercedes F1 has appointed Sport Industry NextGen Leader Caroline Oakes to its marketing team to oversee esports partnerships.

Oakes joins from esports agency Network N and will oversee partnerships with organisations including headwear brand New Era, high-performance computer manufacturer Overclockers, and sim-racing hardware company Sim-Lab.

The 2021 edition of the Sport Industry NextGen programme has now opened for applications.

London-based creative agency MATTA will raise money for men’s health charity Movember with an company-wide ‘lockdown relay’.

On every weekday of November, a member of the team will take it in turn to run, cycle, or walk from their own front door to the front door of another team member to say hello – from a safe distance – to a colleague they haven’t seen in months.

Overall, the agency will cover more than 300 miles and aim to raise money for the charity.
