Wolverhampton Wanderers have become the first Premier League club to sign a deal with an online bitcoin lottery. 

Crypto Millions Lottery has become the club’s Official Online Lottery Partner in the first-of-its-kind deal which seeks to bring the currency further into the mainstream and market the Premier League side to a new audience in Eastern Europe and Latin America.


FIFA has bagged the first national sponsor for it’s revamped Club World Cup, which will be held in Qatar later this year.

Qatari logistics provider GWC has signed as an Official National Supporter of the upcoming tournament, which will be played at three venues across the country from 11th to 21st December 2019.


Paris 2024 has signed French energy provider EDF as the OCOG’s second premium partner.

The brand will be Paris 2024’s Official Electricity and Gas Provider and says it will boost the “fantastic example set by these Games in terms of environmental responsibility”.


The European Tour has postponed the Hong Kong Open – which was due to take place at the end of November – over safety fears. 

The current political unrest in the country has seen the cancellation of other sporting events including the PGA TOUR’s Clearwater Bay Open, as well as tennis and squash events in recent weeks.

European Tour CEO, Keith Pelley, said: “As the safety of our players, staff, stakeholders and everyone involved in each and every one of our tournaments around the world is our top priority, we feel this is the correct, but unfortunate, course of action.”


The European Cricket League – hailed as the Champions League of Cricket – will return to La Manga Club in Spain in 2020.

The club, which is widely-known as the home of cricket in Spain includes continent’s only European Cricket Performance Centre.

The competition, which will run over eight days in May and June 2020, will feature an expanded number of champion teams from across the continent who will play a fast-paced T10 version of the game.
