The Women’s Tour of Scotland cycling event has entered into a partnership with Motorola Solutions, which will sponsor the race’s red sprinters jersey.
The company will also provide two-way radio communications for the event, the first edition of which takes place from 9th-11th August. Motorola Solutions partner Roadphone will equip teams with MOTOTRBO digital two-way radio devices along with accessories.
The inaugural Women’s Tour of Scotland gets underway in Dundee and features some of women’s cycling’s biggest names, including Chloe Hosking, Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig, Brodie Chapman, Emma White and Katie Archibald.
talkSPORT has launched its GameDay programme for the new Premier League season, with its coverage to begin with West Ham United’s home match against Manchester City on 10th August.
talkSPORT will hold rights to the main Saturday radio broadcasting slots and will deliver live and exclusive coverage of games at 12.30pm, 3pm and 5.30pm. The station has also announced a new presenter line-up, which includes Reshmin Chowdhury and Hugh Woozencroft, who will be joined by former England internationals Darren Bent, Trevor Sinclair, Martin Keown and Glen Johnson.
Clive Tyldesley will also join talkSPORT’s commentary team, which includes Sam Matterface, Jim Proudfoot and John Motson.
The West Ham United Foundation has signed a five-year extension to its partnership with SCL, a provider of education services through sport.
West Ham has worked with SCL for nearly seven years, with the partnership providing opportunities for 16-18-year-olds to complete Level 2 or Level 3 qualifications in sport while training full-time with the club.
The Foundation features FA-qualified coaches and uses SCL’s educational services to support its Second Chance Programme, which is delivered at Chadwell Heath. SCL also delivers the Foundation’s Football For All programme in Beckton, a two-year education and football development programme giving students access to university, apprenticeships and the sport and leisure industry.
Premier League club Southampton has agreed a two-year deal for Wow Hydrate to become its new official sports hydration partner.
Wow Hydrate will work with the club on a range of digital content series that will be designed to help supporters fulfil their health potential. The brand will also be promoted on Southampton’s social media channels, including during press conferences and on match days.
Additionally, Wow Hydrate will benefit from a product trial with Southampton’s women’s team. Wow Hydrate also holds partnerships with Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Fran Kirby and Patrick Van Aanholt, as well as rugby player Billy Searle, BMX national champion Tre Whyte and professional boxer Joe Cordina.
Brighton and Hove Albion has announced that sports fashion retailer JD will continue as the club’s shirt-sleeve sponsor for a third consecutive season in 2019/20.
JD’s logo will continue to feature on the left arm of the team’s shirts.
