The Industry’s Biggest Night Of The Year Returns
The industry’s biggest night of the year is officially back in the calendar, as the Sport Industry Awards 2021 returns – live and in-person – this September in what will be the event’s 20th anniversary.
After the 2020 Awards were delivered online for the first time ever, the Sport Industry Awards 2021 will return to Evolution London on 8th September, reuniting the industry for one night that promises not to be missed.
With entries now closed and judging underway, attentions have turned to the Official Shortlist Announcement in May to see who will be contesting the industry’s top honours, before the final night in September where the industry will unite together for one of the first times since the lockdown began in March 2020.
After a summer that is expected to see an ever-increasing return of sport, as well as an Olympic Games and a UEFA European Championship, the Sport Industry Awards 2021 will be the perfect bookend to one of the more tumultuous and challenging periods in our history.
But as the shoots of recovery continue, the night itself now serves as a beacon for us all to share, celebrate and reunite with colleagues and friends. It promises to be the perfect opportunity to come together and mark the resilience of our world-leading industry, because while the stadia and arenas around the world fell silent, you all found new ways to bring the colour and the noise.

“As we embarked on the 2021 Awards late last year, we still weren’t sure if or when we might be able to reunite the industry as one, and that is why today is such an amazing moment. The industry is finally getting back together, and it promises to be one you cannot miss.
“Every year, the Sport Industry Awards is a really poignant event that makes you realise, appreciate, and celebrate everything our industry stands for, and I think over the last 12 months those values have shined through like never before. After a challenging, emotional and turbulent period, it’s time to celebrate together again.”

Regardless of what happens between now and then, we plan to announce the Sport Industry Awards 2021 winners on September 8th. If a change in government guidelines prevents us from holding the physical event we all want, all purchases can be rolled over and secured for a future event or be refunded.
