Ineos has reached an agreement to end its sponsorship deal with Tottenham Hotspur ahead of schedule, according to various reports.

Originally signed in 2022, Ineos has reportedly reached a deal to exit its five-year partnership with Premier League football club Spurs in a financial agreement reaching ‘millions’.

The partnership had designated Ineos’ Grenadier vehicle as Tottenham’s official 4×4 partner.

As a result, Ineos branding has been removed from Tottenham’s stadium, including the dugouts and advertisement screens. The decision aligns with Ineos’ increasing focus on Manchester United, following its acquisition of a minority stake in the club.

Tottenham Hotspur is now able to pursue a new sponsorship deal, potentially securing a broader automotive partnership.

Meanwhile, Ineos has also ended its sponsorship of Sir Ben Ainslie’s America’s Cup team, with discussions ongoing regarding Ineos’ one-third stake in the Mercedes Formula 1 team as it reassesses its sporting investments.

The company is also facing legal action from New Zealand Rugby (NZR) as it tries to withdraw early from its sponsorship deal for the national men’s and women’s teams.
