British professional cycling team Ineos Grenadiers has partnered with cyclewear brand Gobik.
The long-term partnership will commence in January 2024 and sees the Ineos Grenadiers gain a new kit provider and design. Gobik’s logo will also adorn the kit.
This deal spans all of the on-bike racing apparel for the team, and follows its partnership with Belgian sportswear brand Bioracer.
The new deal with Gobik is the team’s third kit supplier in four years.
Alberto Garcia, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Gobik, said, “This alliance is a great opportunity to be part of the structure that is the Ineso Grenadiers. They have always been characterised by being at the forefront, both at a sporting level in the preparation of the riders and at a technological level with all the material, bicycles, accessories and of course, the apparel they will wear throughout the season.
“We are sure that at technical levels, in terms of aerodynamics and performance, the joint work with the team in the coming years will mean an important advancement in our products that of course will ultimately reach the end consumer.”
John Allert, Chief Executive Officer of INEOS Grenadiers, added, “From when we first met with Gobik in Murcia we felt there was a connection, I could tell they were ready to take on the challenge. The Ineos Grenadiers ethos is founded upon continual improvement and pushing boundaries, disrupting the norm; to keep doing that requires partners who are willing to be aligned to that ethos and be a part of the journey, Gobik has shown us that’s the way it operates too.
The quality of the race kit has such a dramatic impact on rider performance, therefore choosing a kit partner is not something we take lightly, I’m looking forward to seeing where this collaboration takes us and them in 2024.”
