Influence Sports Launches Short Form Media

Influence Sports, the marketing agency for global brands and rights holders, has launched Short Form Media, a new content production company. 

Short Form Media will work with brands and individuals from the fashion, sport and automotive industries to create short form media content specifically for online and social media use across multiple devices and platforms.

Since 2012 Influence Sports has worked with the YouTube Global and EMEA sports teams, launching the motorsport channel Pole Position P1 in March 2013. Pole Position P1 is now the leading independent motorsport channel on YouTube with over 80,000 subscribers and 11 million views.

Alistair Watkins, managing director, Influence Sports, said: “We know from our own experience of creating content in a fast moving environment that it is hard to source production companies that offer best in class short form content knowledge and understanding at the right price. 

“We want to offer brands the opportunity to create short form content fast and cost effectively.

“Given the explosion in online video consumption there is now a growing gap between what brands can do in house and with more traditional production companies – Short Form Media is the solution. 

“Furthermore, we know short form content has to be created for today’s consumer – it must be highly engaging and make best use of the growing number of in video annotations that content creators now have to play with. Re-editing content for online use often just doesn’t work. 

“Creating the right content from the start and syndicating efficiently will provide brands and properties with the best ROI.”
