ING Renault F1 has partnered up with Vectrix, a manufacturer of high performance, zero emission electric motorcycles, in an effort to address current environmental challenges.

The partnership saw a number of new, special edition ING Renault F1 bikes deployed for the first time at the Barcelona Grand Prix.

It provides what the team claimed as the most environmentally friendly on-site and shuttle transport for the drivers and the team at all Grand Prix events this season.

Vectrix technology aims to deliver environmentally clean transport for commuting and recreational needs.

ING Renault’s new bikes run exclusively on battery power from its nickel metal hybrid battery and the team has claimed that Vectrix is the first and only production road vehicle in the world to currently deploy this technology.
