InsightX, an intelligence, due diligence and reputation risk agency and Sport Industry Group partner, has partnered with There She Rows.
There She Rows is an all-female crew – consisting of Victoria Monk, Ana Žigić, Molly Green and Ellie Reynolds – who are undertaking an unassisted, 3,000-mile row across the Atlantic Ocean.
The Atlantic Challenge starts in the Canary Islands in December 2023, ends in the Caribbean and is expected to take around 40 days.
Facing 40-foot waves and taking on an incredible test of endurance, the four women aim to ‘inspire the next generation of girls through sport. ‘
As a female-founded business, which has been shaped by a background in elite sport, InsightX described the partnership as ‘fitting’.
InsightX Chief Executive and former rugby player, Sophie Elsworthy said, “We are delighted to be sponsoring” There She Rows “as they take on this epic challenge for such an important cause.
“Speaking personally, I lived and breathed sport in my childhood and early adult life. It has taught me to be driven, hardworking, ambitious and resilient, something which I have taken into business and which has resulted in the co-founding of InsightX.
“It is no coincidence that sportswomen make successful businesswomen and we are very excited to support and follow There She Rows as they promote this cause and train and prepare for the Atlantic Challenge.”
The crew are raising money for the Women’s Sport Trust, a leading UK charity whose aim is to raise the visibility and increase the impact of women’s sport. They are also supporting Endometriosis UK and the Teenage Cancer Trust, two other causes close to their hearts.
Team Captain Victoria Monk, said, “We are so excited to work alongside InsightX – a partner that ‘walks the walk’ in its ambitions to address the inequalities in women’s sport, as well as ‘talking the talk’. The growth of elite women’s sport is on a meteoric rise, but there is still an enormous number of girls that drop out of sport each year, missing out on its benefits both personal and professional.
“Together, There She Rows and Insight X hope to create a platform to inspire and empower the next generation of girls and women through sport – to say, if we can cross an Ocean in a tiny rowing boat (some of us never having rowed before), then you can be inspired to cross your own Atlantic Ocean, whatever that may look like for you.
