Intel has extended its partnership with NSE (National Student Esports) for the third year running, continuing its support for university esports.
Intel has backed various grassroots esports communities and upholds its support for UK university students by continuing its partnership for the 2021/2022 academic year.
The brand will remain the headline partner for the British University Esports Championship, the official esports competition of British universities run by NSE.
“Working with organizations like NSE to support grassroots talent and the student community is at the heart of our esports strategy,” said Mark Walton, Graphics and Gaming Comms Manager, Intel, EMEA.
“We’re delighted to continue collaborating with NSE on the likes of Intel FutureGen and look forward to developing new ideas and an exciting British University Esports Championship later this year.”
The Intel FutureGen programme, which was first introduced in 2019, will also be returning next year, according to NSE. The programme aims to nurture high achieving student leaders and help develop their skills and enhance their future career prospects, with 20 students having benefited from the programme so far.
NSE and Intel say they are also working together on a joint initiative to recognise and reward success stories within the esports community.
