Kick It Out, football’s equality and inclusion campaign, has secured a two-year partnership with investment banking and asset management group Investec, who will work with the campaign on the delivery of a number of projects.

These will include key Kick It Out initiatives such as the annual ‘Raise Your Game’ conference and the ‘Season of Action’, launched in July 2013 to mark 20 years of campaigning to eradicate discrimination across all levels of football.

The Season of Action features Kick It Out’s ‘Next 20’ programme – which Investec will also support – with 20 young football stars across the Premier League, Football League and Women’s Super League raising awareness of the organisation by engaging with the younger members of their local community.

Lord Herman Ouseley, the chair of Kick It Out, said of the deal: ‘Kick It Out is delighted to have Investec supporting its ongoing partnership work to free football from all forms of discrimination. Investec’s resources and knowledge of sport, charity and education will be invaluable to our organisation.’

Investec’s managing director, Bernard Kantor, added: ‘Investec is committed to fighting discrimination in all walks of life. Kick It Out is successfully helping to make football a more positive and inclusive environment and Investec is proud to play a key role and to support the further development of this very important campaign.’

Investec also serves as a partner of the Investec Derby at Epson Downs Racecourse, test cricket in England and the Great Britain women’s field hockey team.
