Investec To Sponsor Lord’s Media Centre

Banking group Investec has taken on the title sponsorship of the iconic Media
Centre at Lord’s cricket ground, replacing previous backer NatWest which ended
its deal last year.

Investec has committed to a three-year sponsorship deal with Marylebone
Cricket Club (MCC) taking it through until the end of the 2009 Ashes Series in
England.

The agreement delivers an extensive package of rights including the naming of
the building – the Investec Media Centre – corporate entertainment facilities
and widespread branding at Lord’s.

The Lord’s Media Centre was opened in 1999 and has been sponsored by NatWest
for the duration of its seven-year existence to this point.
