With Beyond Sport’s innovative new Workshop Week experience fast approaching, the IOC, ONE Championship and the NFL have been revealed as speakers for a special Sport Industry Spotlight session taking place within it.

The session, entitled Fan Engagement in a Post-Covid World, will take a look at what fans from across the sporting spectrum can expect when sport returns; how stadia will be different, where the digital or broadcast output might change, and what fandom will look like in a world of social distancing.

Joining the session – which takes place at 4.00PM (BST) on Thursday 18th June – will be Christophe Dubi, Olympic Games Executive Director at the IOC; Chatri Sityodtong, Chairman and CEO of ONE Championship; Laura Lefton, Senior Director of Club Business Development at the NFL and Melissa Schiller, Senior Director of Corporate Responsibility at the NFL, as well as Sport Industry Group Managing Director and host of the panel, Alex Coulson

The session comes as Sport Industry Spotlight pauses on solely covering Sport Industry Awards categories each week and instead begins reaching out to different organisations in the industry to create new, bespoke sessions with timely and exciting panels and topics for the sector.

As with any Sport Industry Spotlight session, all attendees will join virtually and have the opportunity to ask attendees direct questions throughout. The session will form part of Workshop Week’s ‘Industry Solutions’ track, which will cast an eye towards the future of sport and how it survives and thrives moving forward. A special discount code is also available for the Sport Industry Group network upon request.

“This is a great opportunity to bring together a group of seniors leaders from world sport to talk about how we all move forward and work in the interest of the fans after the pandemic,” said Alex Coulson, Managing Director at Sport Industry Group.

“Each member of the panel brings with them different areas of insight, and each has their own fan challenges to overcome. It’s going to be fascinating to hear what they are working on now and what they believe lies ahead.”

Built to place the sport sector and industry leaders at its core, the four day virtual Workshop Week experience – taking place between 15th and 18th June – will address the personal and professional challenges the sport for social change industry faces now, and will provide inspiration, insight and the opportunity to work with experts on how to overcome them to thrive on the other side.

General Passes to Workshop Week will be available to the Sport Industry Group network at a discounted rate of $115 (around £95). To apply the saving, please click HERE, select General Pass and then add discount code SISpotlight (please note this is case sensitive).
